We have revised the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy and the Notation based on the Specified Commercial Transactions Act.
- What the revised texts cover:
- Linking your account with AI assistants
- Miles: how they are granted, when they expire (generally 6 months) and the ban on unfair acquisition
- Ads and sending data to third parties for ads and analytics
- Handling of information for users outside Japan
- Official accounts for businesses and municipalities
- Revision on 2026-10-24: the Privacy Policy now lists invitation and referral records (code used, channel and date) among the information we collect.
- When the new terms apply: new users agree to them when they sign up. For existing users, they apply from 2026-10-31. Existing users will see a confirmation screen in the app.
- Translations: reference translations are available in 16 languages for the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy, and in Japanese and English for the Specified Commercial Transactions notation. The Japanese version is the official text.

VOYXIA now sends notifications only when they are likely to help.
- Before your trip: a reminder 30 days before departure, and a checklist 7 days before. Domestic and overseas trips get different checklists, such as passports for trips abroad.
- During your trip: a morning alert at 7:00 local time when rain is likely in the afternoon.
- Weekends: suggestions for places near you.
- Weekly summary: likes and saves on your itineraries are combined into one summary a week, instead of one notification each.
- Settings and limits:
- You can turn each type of notification on or off in Settings.
- No notifications are sent at night, in your own time zone.
- There is a daily limit.
- If you don't open a type of notification certain times in a row, VOYXIA pauses that type for certain days.

- If you link your VOYXIA account, the results are saved privately to your search history and "My Itineraries" in the app, so you can keep planning there.

Once saved, you can launch VOYXIA without any network connection to view your offline itinerary, calculate bill splits, and access a 16-language phrasebook. This allows users to define their travel habits and preferences and generate plans much more easily and quickly than with standard conversational AI.
